PhD students
Samuel Ribeiro Costa - lattes
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry at University of Brasilia (UnB) and master’s in chemistry at the same institution. Currently a PhD student in Chemistry at LSAB, he works with the synthesis of cationic peptides with a focus on their use for the treatment of infections caused by S.aureus. Experience in synthesis and prospection of peptides and in the use of mass spectrometry and HPLC techniques.
Fernanda Leonel Silva - lattes

Bachelor´s degree in chemistry at UnB and MsC in Chemistry also at UnB. Works with short peptides encrypted in human proteins, most interested in the their anti-inflammatory activity and associated mechanisms

João Bueno Nunes - lattes
João is a PhD student at the University of Brasília (UnB) in the field of organic chemistry/biochemistry. He graduated in chemistry at UnB in 2019 and worked on two Scientific Iniciation Programs (PIBIC) in 2018 and 2019. In these projects, he worked with the synthesis and purification of peptides, as well as processing of O-glycans from human plasma followed by mass spectral analysis. He is currently working in the optimization of the Chim peptide series.

Alan Ribeiro Mól - lattes

Alan is working with mass spectrometric analyses of N-glycans in Congenital Disorders of Glycosylation, incorporating novel subtypes and controls in our predictive platform.
